Lucy Hancock – Trust HR Manager
Lucy Hancock joined the Trust in July 2023 as Trust HR Manager. In this newly formed role, she will be supporting the Trust to develop our HR strategy, policies and procedures and manage their successful implementation as well as provide operational support to managers in relation to their people management matters.
Lucy is Level 7 CIPD qualified and has worked in Human Resources for over 20 years. Most of her career has been spent working in the education sector, firstly at a FE College and then within a Multi Academy Trust and then most recently within the Commercial Sector as a People Management Consultant.
As a result, Lucy has a sound knowledge and understanding of HR and particularly the unique needs of the education sector and has substantial experience of managing all aspects of the employee life cycle, from employee relations processes, redundancies and business restructures to employee wellbeing and engagement.
Lucy is passionate about HR and prides herself on her ability to foster really good working relationships with those she works with, understanding the challenges they may face and always strives to offer a pragmatic, solution focussed service.
